India’s T20 World Cup 2021 squad

  • Virat Kohli (captain)
  • Rohit Sharma
  • KL Rahul
  • Suryakumar Yadav
  • Pant (wicketkeeper)
  • Hardik Pandya
  • Ravindra Jadeja
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar
  • Jasprit Bumrah
  • Shardul Thakur
  • Yuzvendra Chahal
  • Shereyas Lyer
  • Prithvi Shaw
  • Deepak Chahar

Virat Kohli (captain): Although he faces increasing pressure to win ICC trophies, this tournament could well be a redemption for him. He offers the option to bat in the middle order as well as opening the innings, as he had suggested earlier in the year.
The Indian batsman picked by the BBC for the time being is Rohit Sharma. Kohli also has experience as a captain.
An opener of great consistency in Twenty20 cricket, KL Rahul. The option to keep wicket is also available.
In addition to being a pillar for the Mumbai Indians’ middle-order, Suryakumar Yadav also plays for the West Indies. Anchors, rebuilds, and attacks.
Pant (wicketkeeper): Over the past year, the powerful southpaw has grown in reputation as a match-winner. He is perceived as a danger by opponents.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya. Mumbai Indians and BCCI have prepared him for the T20 World Cup and he can start hitting big from the outset.
Another important all-rounder is Ravindra Jadeja. Left-handed pitcher who can shift gears with the bat according to the situation. Fielder with a gun.
After returning from injury in March, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been one of India’s most consistent white-ball seamers.

India T20 World Cup 2021 squad

The trump card of India: Jasprit Bumrah. Lethal fast bowler at all stages of an innings.
Latest sensation: Shardul Thakur. His ability to hit big is a huge plus, and he is a death-over specialist with the ball.
Yuzvendra Chahal: Over the past four years, Kohli has relied on Chahal to spin the ball. While his form over the past year has been inconsistent, he brings experience.
Shereyas Lyer: He could be a backup for Suryakumar as he is a reliable middle-order bat.
In T20 cricket, the team management has been reluctant to play Shikhar Dhawan. He may have the edge over Prithvi Shaw because of his IPL form and experience playing on slow tracks in the United Arab Emirates.
Deepak Chahar: Bhuvneshwar may need to rely on the seamer. Recent years have seen his batsmanship blossom. Lower order could be enhanced.
Having a mystery spinner in the ranks has really excited the team management. However, there is concern over his right shoulder.
